Early one morning in March 2007 I found myself drawn to the centre of my frost covered lawn and began moving from the centre outwards... ...flattening the frosty winter grass as I pushed my boots forward. Continuing this outward journey a spiral shape was formed. My first grass spiral was created, Spiral Constitutional. I trod the free growing grass spiral regularly throughout the spring and summer months whilst also mowing the surrounding lawn. The contrast of freedom and control developing together. Autumn colours and the wind and rain have worked their magic on the grass spiral. |
