30 Metre Plaited Grass Line
Webberton Meadows 2011
This novel object becomes a natural boundary, a division in the gallery space. The Plaited Grass Line being placed in the gallery challenges the boundaries of art, medium, form and place. Once in contact with the work the viewer cannot avoid becoming an active participant - each responding to the work in his or her own unique way. Viewers were asked to record their experiences of interacting with the piece within pages at the back of the Display Book. These then becomes a continuum informing the work.
